Outreach

EWB-Oxford (a branch of Engineers Without Borders UK).

Outreach is a key area within both EWB-Oxford and EWB-UK. The mission of EWB Outreach is to inspire today's youth to engineer a fairer future. This is done via interactive modules run in schools during classroom hours. Examples of outreach modules include EWB-UK's flagship programme, Water for the World, in which schoolchildren are introduced to key water-related issues and get to design, build, and test their own water filter.

The EWB-Oxford branch collaborates with schools around Oxford (and sometimes beyond) in delivering outreach sessions such as Water for the World to schoolchildren. If you would like to get involved in Outreach at EWB-Oxford, or if you represent a school and would be interested in hosting an outreach session, please email the Outreach team at outreach [at] ewb-oxford.org.

For more information on the Outreach programme itself, please visit the the EWB-UK national Outreach website.
